Abinger Hammer
Abinger Hammer is one of several picturesque villages on the A25 road between Guildford and Dorking.
At the centre of the village is a meadow (used for playing cricket) by the side of the River Tillingbourne, along with a post office and tea rooms. The village is best known for the clock in the
centre (see photographs and local history pages).
There is a railway station on the Reading - Guildford - Gatwick Airport line at nearby Gomshall, whilst the A25 provides access to the A3 at Guildford.
