Epsom
Epsom is located on the northern boundary of Surrey with the London Borough of Sutton.
The town centre is centred around the High Street with its distinctive clock tower. Also on the High Street is the Mall Ashley (formerly the Ashley Centre), which includes Marks and Spencer and Waitrose stores.
The Epsom Playhouse theatre is to be found behind on Ashley Avenue. There is an Odeon cinema on Upper High Street, and the Rainbow Leisure Centre (with a swimming pool, sports and bowling halls and gym) is on East Street. Information on the Epsom Downs racecourse can be found here
Rail services link to London Waterloo and London Victoria, and bus services operate into Greater London and Surrey. Junction 9 of the M25 is to the south-west (map)
